Every doll has a unique lightness and mobility of composition. Facial expressions are reminiscent of Marc Chagall and Amedeo Modigliani’s paintings. Working with faces, the artist follows the exact rules in icon paintings - big, emphatic eyes, delicate lips. Elya creates different kinds of ceramic sculptures; her works are well known among connoisseurs of ceramic decor. Elya, graduate of Abramtsevo Art and Craft University in 1996. Artist Elya Yalonetski is a member of the Artists’Union of Moscow and a participant in many international ceramic art exhibitions. Elya lives and works in Berlin.
